Vintage Look, Radial ride
Way back in the early 1990's, Coker Tyre had the wild idea to build a modern radial tyre with a wide whitewall. It was well received in the automotive hobby, as bias ply tyres were previously the only option for anything wider than a one-inch whitewall. The goal was to manufacture a tyre that offered the vintage style sidewall with ride quality, tread wear and safety that comes with radial construction. Coker Tyres have come a long way since then, and have expanded product lines, added new brands and discovered new technology in an effort to create modern tyres that do not distract from your car's classic appearance.
They took it one step further in 2013, with the introduction of the American Classic "Bias Look Radial", a tyre that not only has a wide whitewall, but also has the shape, profile and design of a bias ply tyre. This tyre opened the door for many new designs, which they have rolled out over the past five years. Heading into 2019, we're proud to announce another expansion to our nostalgia radial product lines with the new American Classic Model A+ Radial, and there are many more new products on the horizon. For now, we want to showcase our wide range of radial tyres that feature the appearance of a vintage tyre.
